Starting out as a solo noise project of veteran Cincinnati musician Sammy McKee in 2012, Old City has grown into a solid post-rock trio. Thus far, the band have released only extended players via digital download, cassette and CD.

In December of 2013 and March of 2014, Old City recorded 12 tracks, documenting a milestone in their musical growth, over two weekend-long sessions. The band feels proud enough of this material, and the performance/recording thereof, to commit it to a physical medium.
